With the Harvest Right Wi-fi dongle you can run your freeze dryer entirely with your phone!

Plug and play through the USB port on the side of your freeze dryer, install the Harvest Right App to your phone, connect to your wi-fi and you are up and running in minutes!

The Harvest Right app allows you to control the freeze dryer screen functions from your phone, while giving you access to preset recipes for commonly freeze dried foods.  The recipes will load the correct settings for the process and then send you notifications when your freeze dryer needs attention or the cycle has completed.

Harvest Right Wifi Kit is awesome

My freeze dryer is in another building on my property which is about 50 yards from my house. I can keep an eye on my batches easily and quickly without making that walk over and over. Especially in the snow and in the dark at night. It also provides a lot of good batch information that will be helpful for future batch planning. The app includes directions and settings for just about any kind of food you are freeze drying and those settings can be sent directly to the freeze dryer which is a big help as well. With a mesh router in that building, the connection is fast and very stable. Before I added the mesh router the wifi adaptor would drop signal given the distance to the house where the primary router is. Now with the mesh router (kind of like a Wifi extender) the connection is seamless.

WI-FI is totally easy to install

This was 1 of the easiest updated and Wi-Fi connections that I've ever done. Connecting it to my 2G home network was automatic and so easy. All I needed to do was use my password when it asked for it.
